This photo is of John, Arnica and Emily at the beach in Wellington on our second to last day in NZ, in particularly windy conditions!!!
I know Neroli will appreciate this shot...
The next image is Ed and I walking along in the hot sun on Day 1 of our tramp through the Fagaras mountains.
On Day 2 it was another hot sunny day. Here Ed and I are standing on yet another of the multiple summits we climbed each day.
Another great big ridge traverse
The first Cabana we reached after three days of walking and we were very hungry. This is the Cabana with the lady who served us an omelette through a tine hole in the wall! Ed pats the donkey
And here comes the storm up the valley!!
Chris does a self portrait by our campsite before nightfall. Perhaps he knew something?
And here we are on Day 5 climbing up the Dracula's Chimney on Naigere. There was alot of mist... it was very atmospheric!
The fantastic shelter we found at the end of a very long Day 5. It was pouring with rain, but we were warm, dry, and safe from bears in this rooftop.
THE TRANSYLVANIAN OPEN
Here is me, being rather silly, there is a small gummy bear attacking me on this orienteering control, it is yellow. You may or may not be able to see it. I was a bit worried about bears, so....
Chris, after becoming the first ever kiwi winner of the Transylvanian Open in Cluj!
KIEV
The beautiful St Sophia monastry

So that´s all for now. Hope you enjoyed the photos, feel free to answer my very informative poll on the top left of this page, Tschüss!

Fantastic to get some pics from you guys! Hehehe... had to laugh at the crazed look in Chris's eye in the self-portrait... must be something about Transylvania... and the bike helmets. And cool looking scenery, of course. Well done with the Orienteering!
aj
Thanks Arnica! I was pretty pleased to finally get some of our photos on seeing as we had alot of cool ones i think. That selection was only 20 of 1000!! Chris is talking to John right now so hello to both of you!
Em
hehe... it was a joint comment from both of us... I was actually posing as arnica! Anyhow, good to hear from you. I've just spoke to Frase Mac and he suggests you might have some luck checking out second hand bikes on http://www.ebay.de/
You can speak German, ja?
What clever tech stuff these bloggy things are .. Chris talking to John (alias Arnie) whilst Em writes to Arnie (alias John). And Annie & I Skyping with Chris just moments before.
I liked the look of campsite on Day 4, Fagaras Mts (2 photos up from the notorious Chris self-portrait)
Some good orienteering results, Em. Oh, and Chris, you did pretty well too ! Annie is actually very proud (I am too but I'm much too proud to say so)

Far out, now that we're all on line together... how about's we all have dinner together?
mmmmm, dinner sounds great!
Oooo pretty photos... I'm jealous.
Planning on replying to your email, really I am. Viel Spass noch.
PS. That gummy bear looks truly terrifying...
Chris thinks so too, every time he looks at that photo it sends shudders down his spine! Yellow gummy bears are the most dangerous variety, followed closly by rare blue ones...
